NOTE:  This is not the standard bite valve on a HydroHeater.  The heating element will not extend into the actual bite valve, although it will be close.  If you use this bite valve it will probably freeze up, but you can usually thaw it out quickly by holding it in your mouth for a few minutes.  If you do use this we do not recommend setting it to the closed position, it may be hard to open it up when cold or frozen.
